New Delhi. Police say a 17‑year‑old boy was viciously stabbed in the Trilokpuri neighbourhood of Mayur Vihar, allegedly as retaliation for an earlier clash.
Around 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, officers from the Mayur Vihar police station received an emergency call reporting a teenager injured in the 30 Block area. Rapid response teams rushed the victim to LBS Hospital, where doctors, noting the severity of his wounds, transferred him to the AIIMS Trauma Centre for advanced care. He is now reported to be in stable condition.
Investigators uncovered that the victim had been involved in a confrontation with another youngster roughly fifteen days prior. According to police, the boy and his friends had assaulted the other juvenile during that earlier incident. The grievance appears to have festered, prompting the aggrieved party and his companions to ambush the teenager later, using knives to inflict serious injuries.
Law enforcement has already taken three juveniles into custody and is questioning them about the attack. Simultaneously, raid teams are sweeping suspected hide‑outs in an effort to locate a fourth minor believed to have taken part in the assault. The probe continues to piece together the exact sequence of events and assign responsibility to each participant.
