Gurugram – On Monday night a milk supplier was viciously attacked with a knife and stripped of ₹12,000 while returning from his daily deliveries near Sector‑7 Market. The victim, identified as Narendra Bhadana of New Colony, suffered serious injuries and was rushed to a government hospital for emergency care. Within hours, New Colony police located and arrested the alleged assailant.

Victim’s Daily Routine

According to police records, Bhadana works as a milk distributor, routinely delivering fresh milk and collecting cash payments from customers in the bustling Sector‑7 market area. On the night of the incident he completed his regular route, gathered the day’s earnings and began his journey home, carrying a cash bundle of about ₹12,000.

The Assault

While traversing a relatively isolated stretch of road, Bhadana was intercepted by a young man who brandished a knife. The attacker thrust the weapon into Bhadana’s chest and abdomen, leaving him gravely wounded. Despite the sudden onslaught, the victim tried to wrestle the assailant and protect his money, but the attacker escaped with the cash‑filled bag.

Immediate Medical Response

Passersby who witnessed the assault quickly alerted authorities. Police and emergency services arrived at the scene, assisted the bleeding victim onto a stretcher, and transported him to the nearest government hospital. Bhadana’s statement was recorded there, providing crucial details that helped investigators identify the perpetrator.

New Colony police launched an intensive search based on the victim’s description. Within a few hours, officers detained Harpreet Singh, also known as “Bobby,” a resident of Krishna Colony. The suspect was taken into custody later that night and is currently being interrogated.
