Dehradun – Prominent YouTuber and former Bigg Boss participant Anurag Dobhal, widely known as UK07 Rider, was arrested by Dehradun police after a grievance was filed accusing him of assault, illegal confinement, intimidation and theft against Raj Singh Chauhan, a relative of his wife.

Why Did the Police Intervene?

The matter came to light when Chauhan approached the Nehru Colony police station and submitted a formal complaint detailing a series of alleged violent incidents. The authorities swiftly registered a case and launched a detailed investigation.

Key Allegations in the Complaint

According to Chauhan’s statement, the clash occurred on 5 October near a café on Haridwar Bypass Road, where he had gone to meet Dobhal and his entourage. He alleges that the meeting turned hostile and escalated into a physical fight. The specific accusations include:

  • Being assaulted and allegedly choked by Dobhal.
  • Physical attacks by several of Dobhal’s associates, causing injuries.
  • An attempt to ram his vehicle.
  • Theft of his mobile phone and a gold chain.
  • Subsequent threats made through phone calls and social‑media messages.

All these points have been incorporated into the ongoing police probe.

Four Persons Taken Into Custody

Police received a tip about a brawl near Haridwar Bypass Road on the night of 5 October. Responding officers arrived to find Dobhal and his team in a heated dispute with Chauhan. Both sides were escorted to a nearby police outpost to prevent further escalation. The confrontation reportedly continued at the outpost, prompting senior officers to step in.

In the end, four individuals were detained: Anurag Dobhal and three associates identified as Abhishek, Abhay Chaudhary and Kurbaan. Chauhan was taken to Doon Hospital for medical assessment after sustaining injuries.

FIR Filing and Family Background

The Nehru Colony police filed a First Information Report (FIR) based on Chauhan’s complaint, naming Dobhal and the three companions. Investigators are working to reconstruct the sequence of events and ascertain each person’s role.

The case also highlights a reported family dispute involving Dobhal and his wife, Ritika. Raj Singh Chauhan is said to be related to Ritika, although police have not confirmed any direct connection between the familial rift and the alleged assault.

Dobhal’s Response

Anurag Dobhal has publicly refuted the accusations, claiming that he and his group were the victims of an unprovoked attack. He says his side contacted the police immediately after the incident and that he will present his version of events during the investigation.

The probe remains active. All allegations are subject to verification, and the final verdict will depend on the evidence gathered throughout the legal process.
