Operating revenue climbs to Rs 5,788 crore

Trent Ltd, the retail arm of the Tata Group, announced a standalone operating turnover of Rs 5,788 crore for the July‑September quarter, marking a 23 % increase year‑on‑year from Rs 4,724 crore recorded in the same period last year.

The six‑month total (April‑September) also surged, hitting Rs 11,454 crore, up 21 % YoY, underscoring the strong momentum across its brand suite.

Zudio hits the 1,000‑store milestone

Value‑fashion chain Zudio celebrated the launch of its 1,000th outlet in the quarter, adding a net 17 new stores. Its sister brand, Westside, contributed another 10 fresh locations.

Together, Trent’s portfolio of brands operated 1,342 stores across India as of 30 September 2026, reflecting a vigorous expansion push into tier‑II and tier‑III cities.

Analyst sentiment turns bullish

U.S. brokerage BofA Securities initiated coverage on Trent, assigning a ‘Buy’ recommendation and highlighting the consistent top‑line growth and the firm’s store‑growth strategy.

With Zudio now surpassing the 1,000‑store benchmark and the overall network expanding beyond 1,300 outlets, Trent is cementing its position as a leading force in India’s organized retail landscape.
