Bhopal – At the CM Youth Conclave‑2026 on Lal Parade Ground, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav declared 2027 the state’s “Year of Youth.” The blueprint is designed to bring young voices into policy‑making, turn their ideas into actionable programmes, and nurture an ecosystem that blends education, employment, innovation and cutting‑edge technology.

State‑Wide Free Coaching for National Competitive Exams

The government will launch no‑cost coaching centres for national‑level competitive examinations in every government college across the state. By removing the financial burden of private tuition and the need for long‑distance travel, students from remote districts will receive an equal chance to compete.

Research Stipends Raised to ₹25,000 per Month

Eligible researchers will see their monthly allowance increase from ₹16,000 to ₹25,000. In addition, a dedicated ₹1 crore research‑support fund will be created to energise university‑level projects and build a vibrant scholarly community.

AI and Advanced Computing Laboratories in Colleges

To align skill‑sets with emerging industries, AI and advanced computing labs will be set up in government colleges. These hubs will expose students to frontier technologies, foster innovation and open pathways to high‑growth careers.

₹5 Crore “Idea Fund” for Young Entrepreneurs

A new ₹5 crore fund will back promising concepts from budding innovators, encouraging a shift from job‑seeking to job‑creating. The scheme aims to nurture startups that can, in turn, generate employment for a wider youth base.

Targeting 100,000 Youth for Skill‑Development Training

The state plans to upskill one lakh young people through vocational programmes, complemented by strengthened placement cells that connect trainees with suitable job opportunities.

Extra MPPSC Examination Added

Beyond the regular annual test, an additional Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) exam will be held next year, giving aspirants another avenue to secure government posts under the Year of Youth framework.

Expansion of Medical and Higher‑Education Institutions

Plans are underway to inaugurate twelve new medical colleges and twelve new universities across Madhya Pradesh, with a strong emphasis on courses that directly enhance employability.

Enhanced Support for Female Scholars and Working Women

The existing “Gaon Ki Beti” and “Pratibha Kiran” schemes will be extended to cover postgraduate women students. Additionally, hostels for working women will be set up in every division, offering safe and convenient accommodation for women entering the workforce.

Broad‑Based Drive for Jobs, Technology and Entrepreneurship

The conclave featured representatives from 17 government departments and showcased more than 80 exhibition stalls highlighting opportunities in AI, robotics, drones, semiconductors, renewable energy and electric vehicles. A Global Investors Summit is slated for Bhopal next year, targeting sectors capable of large‑scale job creation. Furthermore, 500 new National Service Scheme (NSS) units will be created to boost youth participation in community service.

Collectively, these initiatives weave together education, competitive exams, research, technology, skill development, entrepreneurship and employment, laying a robust foundation for Madhya Pradesh’s 2027 Year of Youth.
