The victims have been identified as:
- Nityanand Prajapati, 26, resident of Bagha village (Mayil police area)
- Irfan (known as Raj), native of Ballia Uttar
- Aniket Singh, from Churia village (Lar police area)
- Anand Yadav, hailing from Kohra village
All four were active participants in the local cricket circuit and had traveled together to Lucknow for the competition held on Tuesday.
